Dan Whistler, President (FDR-125)


With over 50 years' experience in funeral service, we have established a tradition of service to families unmatched in the Central Valley.  I firmly believe that it is important for us to make the service of remembrance a fitting tribute, honoring a person's life.




Wayne A. Gomes (FDR-171) Manager

Wayne has served families of Fresno and Madera Counties for over 30 years.  Our ability to provide excellence in service to every family is our foundation.  When called to help a family through one of life's more difficult times, we are able to listen to their needs and create a special service. 





Rhonda Graham, Office Manager & Controller

As Office Manager it is necessary to support the families we serve by performing many of the tasks that are unseen by the public.  This is important work with a short time to complete these tasks.  Additional responsibilites include the Jay Chapel website, accounting and payroll.





Bob Gallegos, Pre-arrangement Director

Our ability to assist families with funeral arragements before the need arises is necessary to make careful decisions.  Bob has many years of experience providing help preparing for services in advance of need,





Les Riffel, Funeral Director (FDR-1295)

Our work in funeral service is a 24 hour, seven day a week effort.  For over 40 years, Les has been able to meet the needs of families whenever called upon no matter the hour.





Mark A. Peruch, Funeral Director (FDR-1202)


When the need arises, our ability to respond with a caring manner is a quality needed in today's world.  Mark has provided that special quality for over 35 years.





Elizabeth Dunn, Office Assistant


The completion of death certificates, obituary notices and the many other details, is the responsibility of our office staff.  Skills using special software, electronic death registration and other office duties have been a part of Elizabeth's job for over 20 years.




Cyndi S. Farr, Office Assistant & Bookkeeper

Good communication with physicians, clergy and hospitals is an important skill to make our office work and run smoothly.  In addition there are many other demands on our office assistant to complete promptly before the funeral service.  Cyndi has performed these tasks for over 9 years.
