Funeral Service: Monday, January 18, 2010 10:00 AM Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Visitation: Sunday, January 17, 2010 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Interment: Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA  Robert Manley Memorial Tribute VideoBiographyRobert Steel Manley, age 75, a native of Pelzer, South Carolina, a resident of Clovis and Fresno since 2000 and a former resident of Madera from 1973 to 2000, passed away in Clovis on Wednesday, January 13, 2010.Robert retired from the State of California where he was in Food Service Management, having managed cafeterias for the state for 20 years. In Madera Robert had attended Grace Assembly of God( now Yosemite Christian Center) and was a member of The Central Valley C.B. Radio Club, and the Madera Athletic Club where he used to swim every day. For a time he had also been a massuse for the YMCA. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Eva Mae Manley in 2002, by a son Gary Manley, and by brothers , Austin, Conrad and James Manley and by sisters Verdelle Sheriff and Katie Autry. Robert is survived by his devoted daughter Patricia White and her husband David of Clovis, by a sister Frances Carter of Fresno, Ca and by a brother Marvin Manley of South Carolina. He is the grandfather of 8, and the great grandfather of 8. Visitation will be Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 2 to 6 PM in Jay Chapel in Madera. A funeral service will be on Monday, January 18, 2010 also in Jay Chapel. Private Interment will be in Arbor Vitae Cemetery of Madera. Remembrances may be made to Hinds Hospice., 1616 W.
