Lou was born in Marlin, TX and a resident of Madera, CA for the past 18 years. He retired in 1978 after serving his country for 22 years in the U.S. Navy, Lou was a veteran of the Vietnam War. For the last 31 years Lou was a Mail Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed playing pool and always had his cue stick ready, Lou also enjoyed playing darts and going bowling. He was a member of the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.Lou was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Ophelia Wilson of 22 years of Madera, his son Marlin Wilson of Madera, two stepsons Robert Campbell of San Jose, Eugene Pinchback of East Palo Alto, his daughters Devaney Wilson of Madera, Missy Wilson of Fresno, his stepdaughter Sonja Rogers of Palo Alto, his brothers Robert Wilson, Jr., Charles Wilson both of Harrisburg, PA and his sister Marilyn Austin of Clovis, NM. Lou also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on: Thursday, January 28, 2010, from 8:00AM to11:00AM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Funeral Service will be on: Thursday, January 28, 2010, 11:00 am at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Interment to follow at: San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W.
