Monica Daggett Biscay went to heaven to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 28 in Fresno following a brief illness. Born in Fresno, CA on August 24, 1964, Monica graduated from Clovis High School in 1983 and attended Fresno City College for the next two years.

She has worked as a payroll analyst for Wilbur-Ellis Chemical Company for the last 15 years, 9 years at the Fresno Branch and 6 years at corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Monica received her Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification in October 2006. She loved to bake and spend time with all of her family whenever she could. Monica is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edmond and Patricia Sagouspé, Ryan and Helen Daggett and uncle, Richard Sagouspé.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years, Alain P. Biscay of Clovis; one son Philip Biscay of Clovis; her parents, Tom and Denise Daggett of Madera; one sister, Nicole Speth and husband Dan of Sparks, NV, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jean and Germaine Biscay of Fresno; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Kelly Biscay of Clovis. Uncles and Aunts include Steve and Nadine Sagouspé of Madera; Judy Sagouspé of Madera; Steven and Tonya Daggett of Murrieta, CA; Carl and Marylynn Vogel of Los Alamitos, CA and Barbara and Bob Clark of Los Alamitos, CA. There are one nephew, Logan Biscay, and 3 nieces, Taylor Biscay, Danielle and Abbigail Speth. Her best friend, LaDonna Curteman was by her side the whole time of Monica's fight with colon cancer. We would like to thank all our family and friends who helped Monica's family with her battle with colon cancer, without all their love and support it would have been impossible to endure her illness. It is great to know that there are people who love us and supported us through such a hard time.

There will be visitation hours of 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, February 4 with the Vigil Service at 7:00 PM at Jay Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 5 at St. Joachim's Catholic Church and interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA.
