Funeral Service: Saturday, February 13, 2010 1:30 PM United Methodist Church, Mariposa, CA Visitation: Friday, February 12, 2010 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Interment: Odd Fellows Cemetery, Mariposa, CA Jack "Scott" Pinkerton Memorial Tribute VideoBiographyAge 85, a native of Sierra Madre, CA and a resident of Mariposa County for 64 years passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at a Madera Hospital. He was an Asst. Road Commissioner for Mariposa County Road Department for 27 years until his retirement in 1975 and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Mariposa. Scott was a veteren of WWII serving in the U.S. Army where he served in the European Theater (in Germany & France) and received a purple heart. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge # 39 in Mariposa, a Secretary Manager for the Mariposa County Fair from 1976 to 1979, Past Commander of the V.F.W. Post # 6042 in Mariposa and was past president of the Mariposa Museum and History Center.Scott is survived by his wife of 62 years Beverly Pinkerton of Raymond, CA. His children: Alan Pinkerton and his wife Kim of Boise, ID; Pamela Burnett and her husband Jeff of Jefferson City, MO & Craig Pinkerton and his wife Sheri of North Fork, CA. He was the brother to George Mueller of San Pedro, CA. Scott had 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera. A Memorial Funeral Service will be on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1:30 pm at the United Methodist Church in Mariposa, CA. A private interment preceded the funeral service at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Mariposa, CA. Remembrances may be made to the United Methodist Church, P.O.
