Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 10:00 AM Pilgrim Armenian Congregational Church, Fresno, CA Interment: Ararat Masis Cemetery, Fresno, CA  Mose Mooradian Memorial TributeBiographyMose was born on November 3, 1916 to parents Tatiros and Sharistan Mooradian. He was the youngest of seven children. He lived on the outskirts of Fresno during the difficult years of the Depression.Mose ser ved proudly in World War II as a Master Sergeant. He was a patriotic solider who experienced the war through homeland service at Camp Roberts and overseas to liberate prisoners of war. He spoke rarely of the historical events and atrocities but with emotion and vivid recall. After the war Mose worked for a few local businessmen in the automotive industry. His ambition and mechanical inclinations led to the opening of his own business, "Globe Auto Wrecking". He soon became known fondly and accurately as "The Transmission King". Mose married and had two children. There were many gatherings of family and friends at their Sunnyside home. Mose's focus and passion became his business. When retired he was the oldest and longest participant vendor in the state wide automotive swap meets. Mose was an over 50 year member of the Triple XXX Fraternity, Fresno Chapter. He loved his backgammon games, but mostly there was his love of fishing for relaxation and pleasure. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Harry and Charlie, and his sisters, Agnes, Mary, Roxie and Dorothy. Mose is survived by his son Don Mooradian, daughter Marsha and son-in-law John Langford. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10 AM in Pilgrim Armenian Congregational Church of Fresno, 3673 North First Street, Interment will follow in Masis Ararat Cemetery.
