Biography
Mrs. Maria Diaz passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the age of 67. Maria was born in Jalisco, Mexico and a resident of Madera, CA for the past 33 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Paulina Jil, and her daughter Martha H. Diaz. She is survived by her husband Jose Diaz of Madera, her three sons Jose Diaz of Madera, Victor Diaz of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Ernesto Diaz of Nevada, her two daughters, Theresa Mazon of Fresno and Angelica Diaz of Madera. Maria also leaves behind her brothers and sisters, nineteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on: Sunday, February 21, 2010 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary to follow, 5:00 PM at Jay Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial: Monday, February 22, 2010, 9:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA
Interment to follow at: Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA
