Biography

Juneau Mayala Mitchell, better know as "Junnie" passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 at the age of 44. Junnie was a resident of " Our House", a residential care home in Madera. She was born at Ford Ord, California and was a resident of Fresno most of her life before moving to Madera where she has lived for the last 11 years. Junnie graduated from Hoover School of Fresno, and later was an employee with Heartland Opportunity Center of Madera, a taco bell employee, a Falcon Enterprise yard crew worker but where she shined was her position as a "Greeter" at the Wal-Mart Store in Madera for 2 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her position and the interaction with the customers. Prior to residing at "Our House" Junnie had been a resident at the Roxbury home.


Junnie is survived by her mother Ruby Mora and step-father Louis Mora of Clovis, her father Roy Mitchell and her beloved grandmother Wilma Price both of Ok. She is the sister of Belinda Pazderski of Clovis, and Gail Mitchell of Potete, Tx. Also surviving are 3 nieces and 1 nephew, and many friends.


A memorial service for Junnie will be on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 10 AM in Jay Chapel. Private Interment will be in Arbor Vitae Cemetery.

Remembrances may be made to the Our House Residential Care Client Fund, 109 E. Central Avenue, Madera, Ca. 93638.
