Biography

Robert Gene "Bobby" Deubert, age 79, a lifelong resident of Fresno passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2010. Bobby the son Jacob and Marie Fries Deubert was raised in the area of west Fresno known as German Town where his family attended the Lutheran Cross Church. He graduated from Edison High School with the class of 1949 and later served in the US Army from 1949 until 1953 and with a second tour of duty with the US Air Force from 1958 to 1962. Returning to Fresno he went to work at Vendo, where he remained for 39 years, retiring as a Machine Operator.

In addition to his parents Bobby was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Deubert.

He is survived by his 2 brothers, Marvin Deubert and Tom Deubert and his wife Nancy all of Fresno, and by extended family members.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 2 to 5 PM in Jay Chapel in Madera. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010 at 12 Noon at Mountain View Cemetery in Fresno.
Remembrances may be made to the charity of donors choice.
