Biography

Bruce Brackin passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the age of 79. Bruce was born in Bonifay, FL and a resident of Madera, CA for the past 24 years. Bruce served his country in the United States Navy in the Korean Conflict. His most significant duty assignment during his years of service was his deployment on the USS Breckinridge Tap 176. Bruce worked as a Salesman for Laede Plastics for 22 years. He was a member of Valley Christian Center in Fresno.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 59 years, Genene Brackin of Madera, CA, his three sons, Brian Brackin and his wife Judy of Carlsbad, CA, Gregg Brackin of Fresno, CA, Bart Brackin and his wife Gail of Lodi, CA, his brother Tom Brackin of Sacramento, CA. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
