Interment: Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA  Pat Summers Memorial Tribute VideoBiographyPat Edna Summers, age 87, a native of Dryden, Washington and a resident of Riverside California for the last 8 years passed away on July 14, 2010. Pat was born to Roy Duncan and Edna McMullen Duncan and was raised in Pateros Washington, where she graduated from High School. Pat over the years owned and operated Patty's Cakes in Vancouver Washington and later Pat's Deli in Redmond Oregon. She was married twice, to her first husband Mr. John Nicotra for 25 years, and later to Mr. Harold Summers for 30 years. Pat moved to Madera in 1982 and resided in the Meadows , a residential community. After Harold's death she relocated to Riverside California where she has lived until her passing in an assisted living facility. Pat was very proud of her Scottish Heritage and was a lifelong Catholic.Pat is survived by her children; Bill Nicotra and his wife Carol of Vancouver, We, Benjamin Nicotra and his wife Merry and Sumner, We, Connie Boylan of Riverside, Ca, and Cathryn Colony of Albany Or. She is the sister of Carl Duncan of Sun City, Az. and the beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A private family visitation and a graveside service will be held in Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera Ca, on Monday, July 19, 2010. Fr. George of St. Joachim's Catholic Church will officiate. |
