Modesto was born to Italian Immigrants Eugenio Morini and Cisella Papi Morini . After his military service Modesto returned to farming which he was engaged in up until his passing. In Madera he was an active member of St. Joachim's Church and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus council of the parish.
