Janet and Ray and family: You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss. But all the memories of Pearl are of joy, laughter and close family times. I see her laughing, planning the Pruett Reunion, always looking forward to our next get together. When she and Artie, Jerry and Wayne came to Oklahoma for the Bessie reunions, we had the grandest of times. I don't think anyone enjoyed it better than she did though. We will miss her tremendously but take comfort in knowing it is for but a brief interlude.

I want to comment on how nice the service was for my sister Pearl Burns. I was happy to hear many others had the same feeling. The many flowers were so pretty and it was nice to see such a large number of people that came to show their respect for Pearl and the family. Pastor Felix Vigil did a great job in bringing the message and in singing the special songs. I thought that was good that he admonished us,the congregation, to use the talents the Lord has given us and those who were not ready to get ready. Artie Godfrey,
