Biography
Age 70, a native of Fresno, CA and a native of Madera, CA for 65 years passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his Madera home. He was a fork lift driver for Madera Glass Co. for 35 years and he enjoyed fishing.
Ruben is survived by his wife of 45 years Olivia Mata of Madera, CA. 3 sons: Ruben, Ronnie & Randy Mata all of Madera, CA. 5 brothers: Gilbert, Larry, Joey & Leonard Mata all of Madera & Ricky Mata of Merced, CA and 3 sisters: Aurora Lopez & Isabel Garcia both of Merced, CA and Rosalie Palacioz of Madera, Ca. He had 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
