Biography
Gregory "Greg" Michaels passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the age of 55. Greg was a native of Ottumwa, IA and a resident of Madera for the past 51 years. He was a Master Welder working for Evapco West for 19 years. Greg was a veteran having served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed camping and loved the SF Giants.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Mike Varjabedian. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sherry Michaels of Madera, his mother Judy Mote of Modesto, his son Aaron Michaels of Madera, two daughters, Carolann Michaels of Madera and Kristy Michaels of Virginia, his brother, Scott Michaels of Madera, and sister Michale "Missy" Varjabedian-Simmons of Madera, his father-in-law, Jim Davis, brother-in-law, Steven Davis, and his sister-in-law, Shonda McDonnell. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
At the request of the family casual attire may be worn to Greg's service; he would have wanted it that way.
Rosary will be held on: Wednesday, February 1, 2012, 10:00 AM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA
Memorial Service will follow on: Wednesday, February 1, 2012, 11:00 AM at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA Services conclude at Jay Chapel.
