Biography
Juan Gonzales was born in El Guayabo, Guanajuato, Mexico to Fortino and Maria Gonzalez. He was a resident of Madera, CA for 50 years. Juan was a farm worker for 75 years and a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.
Our Papa (Abuelito, Don Juanito) was very loving and caring to all the people in his life. He was a man who did so much with so little which inspired everyone to achieve beyond their limits. Although our hearts and broken our faith reminds us that he has just started his next life.
Juan was preceded in death by his son Eliseo, several siblings, and his parents.
Juan is survived by his wife Cristina Gonzalez of Madera, CA. His children: Monica, Juan, Carmelo and his wife Martha Gonzalez, Raquel Hidalgo and her husband Isaac, Esperanza, Ismael and his wife Wawi Gonzalez, Valentina Hidalgo and her husband David, Jesus and his wife Nelly Gonzalez, Emelia Medina and her husband Enrique, Martha, Cesario and his wife Priscilla Baca-Gonzalez, Imelda Madison and her husband Charles. He was the grandfather to Juan, Marcos, Alejandro, Giovanni, Emilio, Edwin, Anthony, Myra, Daniel, Jessica, Jackie, Ismael Jr., Julian (Matthew), Adam, Estephania, Elizabeth, Grace, Bryce, Sierra and 5 great-grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support for our father. We also wish to thank all the staff at Madera Community Hospital, UCSF Fresno Community Hospital, Country Villa Rehabilitation Center and all the many doctors that helped him these last months of his life.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 6, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Jay Chapel in Madera. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. Inurnment will be Friday, February 10, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
